Scribd, Inc. is hiring senior analytics engineers to scale data for an AI-native environment.

You will shape foundations, modeling standards, and development practices while remaining a senior individual contributor trusted for judgment across data, architecture, governance, and tooling decisions. You will connect investments to company priorities, discuss tradeoffs with senior leaders, and help teams move quickly with reliable data products and improved developer experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI engineering or a related discipline.
• Governed data models and semantic layers with authoritative definitions.
• Data quality, observability, governance, access control, privacy and lineage systems.
• Canonical data models and semantic layers for self-serve analytics at scale.
• Advanced SQL with modern data stack: AWS, Databricks, Airbyte, Fivetran, Looker.
• Ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives from strategy to production.
• Balance immediate stakeholder needs with reusable data products and platform health.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical teams and executives.
