Job summary

Skylight is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the Finance and Operations data layer, pulling data from NetSuite, Ramp, and Pigment into Snowflake and Omni, and building the dashboards leadership relies on.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and the Data team to design reusable data models, validate data quality, and govern metrics while driving automation and self‑serve analytics across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics with finance/operational data experience.
• Strong SQL and data modeling in a cloud data warehouse environment (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Operations, and the Data team to define pipeline requirements and understand source-system workflows.
• Own the Finance/Operations data layer and build reusable data models that support reporting, analysis, and decision‑making.
• Design and document data flows from NetSuite, Ramp, and Pigment into Snowflake and Omni.
• Create validation checks, reconciliation workflows, and exception reporting to improve trust in critical data across source systems, Snowflake, and Omni.
• Define and govern key Finance/Operations metrics with business owners, including data grain, source of truth, ownership, and refresh cadence.
• Create and maintain dashboards from executive summaries to granular self‑serve analytics.
• Identify and execute opportunities to automate manual data flows and reporting processes.
