Job summary

Brigit is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the analytics layer end-to-end, including dbt models, orchestration, and metric definitions. You will bridge raw data with analysts, PMs, and finance, ensuring reliable data across the company.

You’ll lead the analytics pipeline, enforce data quality, and contribute to documentation and governance. A high-ownership IC role in a fast-growing fintech team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals with mart layer architecture.
• Experience with Snowflake in production context.
• Comfort owning orchestration tooling (Airflow, dbt Cloud, or equivalent).
• Track record of building durable documentation used by teams.
• Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Curiosity and drive to explore and integrate new tools in a rapidly evolving landscape.
• Ownership mindset and bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Own the dbt project(s) and maintain code quality.
• Orchestrate production dbt jobs and monitor SLAs.
• Define and defend canonical metric definitions for analysts and dashboards.
• Drive documentation culture with runbooks and wiki content.
• Lead data quality and observability, manage monitors and contracts.
• Deprecate old models and clean up related warehouse objects.
• Support audit, compliance, and vendor management.
• Mentor the data team and review code with analysts.
