Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design, maintain, and evolve data models powering business intelligence and analytics. You will own the layered dbt data model for reliable data consumption by Power BI and downstream applications.

You will collaborate to extend models for the pricing engine MVP, harmonize KPIs across regions, and build analytics solutions using Databricks, Azure, and Python for automation and insights.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and dbt proficiency.
• Experience designing layered data models for analytics.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure data environments.
• Python for data processing and automation.
• Power BI data modeling and reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reusable models.
• Strong communication across regions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the layered dbt data model for Power BI and downstream consumers.
• Develop and maintain data transformations with dbt and SQL.
• Extend models to support pricing engine MVP.
• Harmonize KPIs across regions with consistent definitions.
• Build and optimize analytical data solutions using Databricks and Azure.
• Apply Python to support data processing and automation.
• Develop data models for Power BI for accurate reporting.
• Ensure data quality and usability across models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to improvements in data architecture and analytics standards.
