Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design and deliver scalable data models, pipelines, and dashboards that enable data-driven decisions. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level reports.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in analytics or data engineering, strong SQL, experience with Power BI or Databricks, and a cloud platform background (Azure preferred). This hybrid role supports both Tempe and St.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or related discipline.
Advanced SQL skills and experience building scalable data models and data pipelines.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and automated data ingestion for analytics.
Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or similar BI platforms.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and large analytical datasets.
Strong analytical and communication skills to translate data into insights and actions.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable data models, pipelines, and dashboards to support analytics needs.
Build executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational reports for stakeholders.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices across reporting platforms.
Leverage cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) to optimize cost and performance of analytics solutions.
