Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build reusable analytical models, tools, and systems that empower decision making across the company. You will report to the Director of Data Engineering and Analytics and collaborate with Data Science on feature tables and model outputs.

Ideal candidates possess strong SQL skills, Python proficiency for data-lake jobs, and experience with DBT or similar frameworks for reliable, scalable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Data mart design experience using dimensional and entity centric modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of grain, keys, history, lineage, contracts, and quality controls.
• Proficiency in Python to build and maintain data-lake jobs.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to build semantic products.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow and data transformation frameworks such as dbt.
• Collaborate with Data Science on feature tables and model outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable analytical models, tools, and systems to power decisions across Temporal.
• Partner with Data Platform and Trust on deployment, orchestration, observability, access controls, performance, cost, and production reliability.
• Align business logic across marts and dashboards with clear governance and controls.
