Cypress HCM seeks an Advanced Analytics Contractor to support decision-making for Host App teams. This senior analytics partner will deliver high-impact analysis, experimentation, and reporting to inform product strategy and execution.

The role is execution-focused, working independently while partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and Analytics to deliver outputs on defined timelines and milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis.
• Hands-on SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistics to product problems.
• Experience building end-to-end metrics in data pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder communication and independent work capability.

Responsabilités

• Own and deliver advanced analytics for Host App product and business domains.
• Analyze large datasets to answer key questions using statistical, causal, and exploratory methods.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments (A/B tests and quasi-experiments) to measure impact.
• Develop and validate product metrics and dimensions to monitor outcomes.
• Build dashboards and readouts to enable data-driven decisions; partner with cross-functional teams.
• Provide clear insights and recommendations to leadership; leverage AI-assisted tools as appropriate.
