Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking an experienced Analytics Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of world-class analytics solutions. You will architect cloud-based data platforms, maintain enterprise data pipelines using Informatica IICS and Snowflake, and ensure data quality and governance across the organization.

The role requires deep expertise in data modeling, SQL, Python, and experience with Tableau/Power BI.

Qualifications

10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platform development.
Experience as Analytics/Data Architect or similar role.
Hands-on with IICS and Snowflake.
Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and cloud-based ETL/ELT frameworks.
Strong data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing skills.
Python for automation, scripting, and data tasks.
Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI.
Experience integrating data from enterprise platforms like S/4HANA and Salesforce.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Maintain data pipelines and integration frameworks built on IICS and Snowflake.
Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data.
Analyze data flows and dependencies to support enhancements and bug fixes.
Develop scalable data models for analytics and operations.
Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage across platforms.
Document data sources, transformations, and data consumption for governance.
Improve platform reliability and pipeline performance.
Develop reusable frameworks, standards, and guidelines for data engineering and architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize platforms.
