Job summary

Bayer seeks an Analytical Scientist to lead analytical chemistry activities in their Quality Assurance team in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany. You will oversee routine and non-routine testing of materials and products, develop methods, and ensure GMP compliance across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include method validation, data interpretation, and regulatory submissions support, with cross-functional collaboration to drive quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on chromatography and spectroscopy in pharmaceutical QA.
• Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge (FDA/ICH).
• Fluent German with good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical chemistry activities and supervise testing of materials and products.
• Develop, validate, transfer, and optimize analytical methods.
• Interpret data and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Ensure GMP-compliant workflows and assist regulatory submissions.
• Represent QA in audits and cross-functional collaborations.
