Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in the United States seeks a Scientist II to join the Analytical Development team within Pharmaceutical Development. The role requires hands-on experimentation, leadership on projects, and collaboration with clients to deliver analytical solutions.

You will develop and transfer analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, UV-Vis), support formulation and process development for high-potency compounds, and provide mentorship to junior scientists in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Advanced degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related field with relevant experience.
Strong foundation in clinical-phase development and analytical characterization of drug products.
Experience with analytical methods development for small molecules and biologics.
Familiar with regulatory expectations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Leads Analytical Development activities as SME for method development and testing.
Supports formulation and process development projects with senior scientists.
Executes method development and transfer to achieve milestones without supervision.
Develops phase-appropriate analytical strategies aligned with program objectives.
Represents Analytical Development on client calls with technical updates.
Troubleshoots analytical methods challenges and proposes corrective actions.
Maintains calibration and cleanliness of laboratory instruments.
Authors and reviews analytical development records, SOPs, and reports.
