Job summary

Cogent Infotech is seeking a Chemist with 5+ years of analytical chemistry experience to design, validate, and optimize chromatographic methods in accordance with ICH, USP, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines. You will develop validation protocols, method transfers, and technical reports while performing quantitative and qualitative analyses using HPLC and GC.

Responsibilities include data interpretation and reporting, maintaining LC/GC instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of developing, validating, and verifying analytical chromatographic methods.
• Experience with regulatory requirements (ICH, USP, FDA).

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, optimize, and verify analytical chromatographic methods per ICH/USP/FDA.
• Create validation and transfer protocols, technical reports, and supporting docs.
• Analyze samples using chromatographic methods (HPLC and GC).
• Troubleshoot LC- and GC-based instrumentation and maintain equipment.
• Ensure quality and safety per written procedures and regulations.
• Interpret data, prepare technical reports, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Adapt to changes and prioritize work to deliver timely results.
