Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission, developing analytic capabilities, automating analyst workflows, and building next-generation software for mission success. You will collaborate with mission analysts and data scientists to rapidly prototype, deploy, and transition innovative capabilities into operations, embracing AI-assisted development and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong software engineering with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Ability to understand analyst workflows and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to understand operational challenges and document use cases.
• Design and prototype software to automate manual processes and streamline data workflows.
• Support transition of prototypes into production capabilities and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop reusable components and APIs that integrate with mission systems.
• Iterate prototypes with analysts and evaluate emerging technologies including Generative AI.

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Sr. Analytic Developer to support the exciting Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission, where you'll develop cutting-edge analytic capabilities, automate analyst workflows, and build next-generation software that enables mission success. This is an opportunity to work alongside mission analysts and data scientists to rapidly prototype, deploy, and transition innovative capabilities into operational use. Our team embraces modern software engineering, AI-assisted development, rapid prototyping, and continuous innovation to help analysts process and exploit data at unprecedented speed and scale.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Mission Focus: Partner directly with analysts and mission stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities to improve data discovery and analytic tradecraft.
• Gather and document user stories and use cases, facilitate technical discussions, and translate mission needs into innovative software solutions.
• Design and prototype applications that automate manual processes, streamline data workflows, improve information dissemination, and accelerate analyst productivity.
• Support the transition of successful prototypes into sustainable operational capabilities while helping modernize mission processes through advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications using Python and Jupyter Notebooks to support advanced data analysis and mission automation.
• Develop reusable software components, APIs, and analytic tools that integrate with existing mission systems.
• Build scalable data processing workflows, automate repetitive analyst tasks, and develop capabilities that improve knowledge management and data exploitation.
• Work closely with analysts to rapidly iterate software prototypes, evaluate emerging technologies—including Generative AI—and deliver high-quality production solutions that solve real mission problems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong software engineering experience developing applications with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Familiarity with mission analyst tools and the ability to quickly understand analyst workflows and operational requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies and deliver innovative software solutions in an agile, mission-focused environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Experience developing software in Java. Experience applying Generative AI or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to operational problems.

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
