Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Subscriber Growth & Monetization is a highly visible team of professionals with backgrounds in consulting, investment banking, private equity, media & entertainment, and technology who serve as in-house advisers to DTC’s executive leadership and own the subscriber, engagement, and revenue growth planning and reporting for Disney+ and Hulu. The team’s activities and accomplishments have contributed to the rapid growth and success of Disney’s DTC business.
Summary: We are seeking a Senior Analyst that will play a key role in growing our direct-to-consumer business, with a focus on Subscriber Planning for Disney+ US / Canada and Hulu. This Senior Analyst will support the subscriber forecasting process with thorough analysis of business trends and forecast model development and improvement, with a particular focus on subscriber acquisition. They will provide variance analysis through regular reporting to Subscriber Planning leadership and support the evaluation of strategic initiatives. Workstreams include but are not limited to modeling the impacts of new product offerings, developing and tracking KPIs to drive execution, monitoring performance of the service, and more. They will also collaborate closely with stakeholders from Revenue Planning, Engagement Planning, Product, ESPN, Business Operations, Executive Reporting, Marketing, and more.
The right person for this role has phenomenal analytical skills, experience working with large datasets and building complex financial models, high standards for themselves, and a proactive approach to anticipating and exceeding the business demands of the key stakeholders. This role will leverage data to generate and share business insights, provide strategic recommendations, and influence key operational decisions.
The pace of change at Disney’s DTC businesses necessitates an ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with a range stakeholders, and roll up sleeves to support this vital segment.

The hiring range for this position in California is $112,700.00 to $154,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
