Job summary

Disney Streaming Services LLC in New York seeks a Senior Analyst to grow our direct-to-consumer business, focusing on Content Forecasting. You will build and maintain forecast models for content releases to forecast subscriber growth and retention and develop KPI tracking to drive execution.

You will collaborate with Content Planning, Data Analytics, Strategy, and Marketing to provide insights, present findings, and support go-to-market analyses for future content, influencing leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of finance/strategy experience in media, direct-to-consumer subscription, management/strategy consulting, investment banking or similar fields.
• Excellent communication and PowerPoint skills; ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs for all management levels.
• Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, able to prioritize and resolve multiple issues.
• Expert Excel skills; extensive experience building operating models and analyzing large data sets.
• Knowledge and understanding of subscription / DTC KPIs is a must.
• Media & Entertainment industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create & manage forecast models for Disney Entertainment content releases and the subsequent impacts on subscriber acquisition and retention.
• Partner with content teams and regional partners to optimize timing of content releases.
• Support strategic ad hoc analysis to highlight KPI trends, opportunities/risks to plan, size new offerings, evaluate new strategic initiatives.
• Maintain understanding of operating performance (KPIs, subscribers), major deals and transactions, issues and trends in streaming.
• Develop impactful presentation materials that effectively communicates subscriber projections, drivers, performance, and risks & opportunities to leadership.
