Job summary

CareMore Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to leverage medical claims and financial data to deepen understanding of patient populations, utilization patterns, and network performance.

This role partners with clinical, network, and leadership teams to deliver data-driven insights that improve performance, support value-based care initiatives, and lower the total cost of care across the IPA.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare analytics, financial analysis, consulting, or a related role in IPA/health plan/provider org.
• 2+ years of experience distilling information into concrete business recommendations with rationale.
• Strong experience with medical claims data and drivers of utilization, cost and quality in value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical claims data to evaluate utilization patterns, cost drivers, quality performance, and population health trends across attributed member populations.
• Assess provider and network performance, including variation in utilization, cost, and outcomes, to support network strategy and provider engagement.
• Support value-based care and risk-based arrangements by analyzing financial performance against benchmarks, targets, and capitation assumptions.
• Perform financial analysis, including ROI assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and variance analysis to inform decisions.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.*
