Job summary

State Street in Stamford, CT is seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst focused on Developed Markets Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment Industries. You will develop and present actionable stock ideas, build financial models, and interact with PMs to drive portfolio decisions.

You will partner with sector analysts and regional teams, delivering industry insights and company analysis to support investment recommendations and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; MBA and/or CFA preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in an investment management organization or financial services.
• 5 years as a research analyst, preferably in semiconductors.
• Strong history of demonstrated performance.
• Experience using Bloomberg.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Based on fundamental research, formulate and recommend equity semiconductor investments.
• Collaborate with sector analysts, regional teams, and portfolio managers.
• Provide industry insight, company analysis, and actionable stock ideas for performance.
• Manage a best-ideas US and International sector portfolio with PMs.
• Construct/maintain financial models and forecasts to support recommendations.
• Communicate research to portfolio managers and update opportunities.
• Develop regular contact with management teams and industry sources for insights.
• Participate in due diligence meetings with internal and external parties.
