Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Growth Intelligence, the Sales Intelligence Sr. Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and translating sales data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, improve sales effectiveness, and support data-informed decision-making across the firm. This role serves as the primary analyst for sales intelligence initiatives, working cross-functionally with revenue operations, sales leadership, and industry teams to optimize the sales pipeline and identify growth opportunities.

The Sales Intelligence Sr. Analyst position requires a detail-oriented, analytically minded individual with strong technical skills in data analysis and visualization, who can effectively translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain operational sales dashboards providing real-time visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and industry-specific growth trends.
  • Work with Data & Analytics product managers to curate requirements for growth-related data products.
  • Use growth data products to conduct detailed pipeline analyses, including conversion rates, velocity metrics, win/loss studies, and bottleneck identification to drive process improvements and competitive insights.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for sales leadership through compelling visualizations and presentations.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for sales data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, creating custom views and reports for sales analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT, Data & Analytics, and leadership teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality and integrity within sales systems, and improve data collection processes for sales analytics.
  • Create standard processes for sales data extraction, transformation, and analysis while continuously refining analytical methodologies for improved accuracy.
  • Partner with marketing and client intelligence teams to develop holistic customer journeys and identify cross-functional improvement opportunities.
  • Work directly with industry teams to provide customized sales intelligence tailored to specific market segments and client needs.
  • Build strategic relationships with sales leaders to understand information requirements and ensure analytics deliverables maximize business value and adoption.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, statistics, economics, data science, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced data analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales intelligence, including leads and client analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in Power BI/Data Bricks, including data modeling, visualization, and dashboard creation.
  • 5+ years of experience in database querying (SQL) and data transformation tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 CRM) in developing custom views and analysis.
  • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization, etc.).
  • Experience in leveraging AI to develop more efficient processes and analysis.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $97,000 to $130,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
