Overview

Brookfield’s Data Governance Program has been created to build a high‑quality, trusted source of truth across key real‑estate domains, including transactions, investments, properties, underwriting metrics, and capital pools. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting this program by ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems and workflows, and by supporting investment committee processes for the Real Estate business.

Responsibilities
  • Support data governance processes by coordinating timelines, reviewing materials, and validating reported information against underlying data.
  • Translate business needs into structured requirements for technology solutions.
  • Conduct detailed analysis in collaboration with the India team to resolve complex master data and business process issues, identify root causes, propose changes, and coordinate resolution across teams and systems.
  • Maintain and enhance core data governance artifacts, including official data definitions, field structures, and business requirements documentation.
  • Conduct testing and validation of system enhancements, data updates, and reporting outputs (e.g., Power BI), identify issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on the technology that supports the data governance and investment committee processes, respond to system and master data inquiries, and support process and output improvements.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • 2–5 years experience in business analysis, data, consulting, or a related field; exposure to the real‑estate industry is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
  • Excellent organizational skills; capability to manage priorities while meeting timelines.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability; able to break down real‑world problems into structured solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to engage professionally and effectively with global stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Team‑oriented with a commitment to collective success.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, decentralized, matrix organization.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams; ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with data systems and reporting tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI).
  • Exposure to data governance, data quality, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced, execution‑oriented environment (e.g., consulting, operations, startups).
  • Interest in real‑estate, private equity, or asset management.
Salary

$95,000 – $115,000
