Job Title: Senior Analyst – Respectful Workplace Investigations (Contract)

Contract Length: 3 to 6 months

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst of Investigations on our Respectful Workplace team within our Human Resources department. This fully remote contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume environments and brings a strong foundation in HR investigations, ideally from a large-scale or big-box retail organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prompt, thorough, and unbiased internal investigations into a range of workplace concerns including:
  • Title VII claims
  • Workplace violence
  • Wage and hour violations
  • Discrimination and retaliation
  • Managerial and termination concerns
  • Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses with professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Maintain detailed, objective, and well-organized case files and reports.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Legal as needed to address findings and recommend outcomes.
  • Ensure investigations are handled confidentially and in alignment with company policy, legal standards, and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Respectful Workplace program and contribute to training or awareness initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in human resources with a focus on internal investigations.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment—ideally with a background in organizations such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, CVS, Walgreens, Best Buy, Nordstrom, Macy’s, or McDonald’s.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, workplace conduct standards, and investigative procedures.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and well-organized investigation summaries and documentation.
