Senior Analyst, Quality Analytics & Performance Improvement - Power BI/SQL/Hedis - Remote
Become a key contributor to Molina Healthcare's Quality Analytics team as a Senior Analyst. Your role will involve designing and developing reporting solutions to support HEDIS audits, rate tracking, targeted interventions, and outcome monitoring. You will also assist in research, development, and execution of performance improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements, develop reports, and train users.
- Support predictive intervention strategies and track their effectiveness.
- Perform retrospective HEDIS rate and data impact reporting.
- Create reports for Medical Record Review projects and team productivity.
- Develop and QA analytical and reporting modules related to Quality/HEDIS for Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare/MMP.
- Analyze managed care data including claims, pharmacy, labs, and HEDIS rates.
- Assist in deep dives into HEDIS measures to support audits and revenue reporting.
- Calculate and monitor HEDIS rates across interventions, markets, and lines of business.
- Extract meaningful insights from large datasets through data analysis, mining, and root cause analysis.
- Identify data issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Analyze data trends for anomalies and opportunities, applying statistical methods to forecast future trends.
- Support special projects and ensure smooth data warehouse upgrades without impacting end-users.
- Perform impact analyses for data logic and source code changes.
- Develop expertise in HEDIS to improve health plan performance on key measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Math, Economics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with data mapping, cleaning, and management.
- Extensive experience with SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS in a managed care setting.
- Knowledge of data science techniques and languages like Python and R is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Hadoop.
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare quality data modeling and analysis, especially related to HEDIS.
- Strong analytical skills in complex data environments for financial and performance metrics.

- Salary Range: $77,969 - $155,508 annually, depending on location, experience, and skills.
