Job summary

Toyota's Production Strategy team in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Analyst to drive mid- to long-term supply chain efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost competitiveness for Powertrain operations.

You will lead cross-functional studies, develop Make vs Buy analyses, and coordinate with suppliers and global teams to deliver KPI-driven decisions. On-site 3 days/week, travel domestically/internationally about 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience coordinating complex cross-functional studies with demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs.
• Self-driven, independent work experience effectively managing multiple short- and long-term tasks.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), ability to deliver complex information clearly and concisely across cultures and organizational boundaries.
• Critical thinking, identifying risks/gaps, generating potential solutions and evaluating impact.
• Fluent usage of MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel domestically & internationally (approx. 10%).
• Ability to work on site 3 days/week or more (subject to policy changes).

Responsibilities

• Creation of strategy for core activities: develop a plan of action for Make versus buy (MvB) studies, Capacity studies and Commodity strategies to ensure timely execution with quality built-in.
• Cross functional daily coordination: lead multiple stakeholders through project activities to achieve KPIs.
• Summary and escalation: visualization and presentation of project condition, risk and outlook to executives.
• Problem solving: organize working groups to gather information and prepare insights for strategic sourcing and capacity decisions.
• Process standardization: develop and execute SOPs; propose and implement process improvements.
• Team lead: mentor analysts supporting project.
