Job summary

Russell Investments in Seattle seeks a Senior Analyst, Global Alternatives Operations to independently support administration and oversight of private equity, private real estate, private debt, infrastructure and other alternative funds and accounts. The role covers capital calls, distributions, NAV support, performance and client reporting.

Responsibilities include improving processes, AML/KYC coordination, and collaboration with administrators, custodians and portfolio managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in fund accounting, valuations/NAVs, capital activity, cash management and expenses.
• Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline; certifications preferred.
• Investment management or financial services certification preferred.
• Knowledge of alternative investments (private equity/real estate/infrastructure).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and resolve complex problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal/external partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with automation/AI for processes.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex, time-sensitive fund operations across multiple funds and accounts.
• Provide guidance and daily support to less-tenured team members without people management duties.
• Research and resolve complex operational issues, documenting decisions and risks.
• Maintain procedures and contribute to automation and change initiatives.
• Monitor fund valuations and interact with administrators to resolve questions.
• Support data collection and reporting for private markets portfolios and distribution calculations.
• Act as liaison with investment teams, administrators, custodians and clients.
• Coordinate FATCA/CRS and audit-confirmation activities; support audits and reporting.
• Coordinate new commitments and AML/KYC materials; ensure setup in systems.
• Track cash calls, distributions, subscriptions and redemptions; monitor expenses.
