Maryland State Retirement Agency seeks a Senior Investment Analyst II for the Private Credit program. The role supports sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring external managers, while contributing to portfolio construction, market research, and investment recommendations.

The analyst will engage with managers on performance, attribution, and outlook; participate in board and committee discussions; and help advance data management, reporting, and processes across the System.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with potential and existing managers to discuss performance and outlook.
• Monitoring managers through update calls and meetings.
• Participating in industry groups to develop best practices in manager evaluation and investment analysis.
• Determining risk/return characteristics of prospective strategies to meet portfolio objectives.
• Data management, reporting, and process improvement.
