Job Description:

The Senior Analyst, Net Revenue provides analysis and reports related to the net revenue accounting function. The senior level analyst serves as a subject matter expert, performing complex to highly complex analysis requiring a robust skill set.

Work Arrangements: We are committed to offering flexible work options where approved and stated in the job posting. Currently, we are not considering candidates residing or planning to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.

Reports to the Manager, Net Revenue. This role requires a high level of skills in Revenue Cycle analytics, specific to Net Revenue, and should be performed only by those demonstrating the required proficiency.

Responsibilities include:

1. Demonstrates proficiency in Kodiak RCA System.
2. Prepares A/R reserve calculations, including allowances, bad debt, and charity for all assigned units.
3. Produces monthly close schedules related to net revenue and receivables.
4. Analyzes payer performance.
5. Provides analyses and reports on Net Revenue performance.
6. Prepares planning and forecasting models.
7. Performs balance sheet reconciliations.
8. Manages multiple projects and communicates risks effectively.
9. Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, adhering to service standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Four years of relevant experience with analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with accounting systems, financial forecasting, and modeling.
• Proficiency in analytics tools and Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or master’s degree.
• Two years of healthcare, finance, or accounting experience.
• Experience with net revenue processes.
• CPA or CNRA certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic, Werner, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, and Workday.

Physical Requirements and Location:

• Location: Key Bank Tower, Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Work Hours: 40 hours/week.

Compensation: Hourly range $36.22 - $57.04, dependent on experience.
