Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with stakeholders to answer analytical questions critical to the success of our teams and customers.
  2. Design innovative analytic approaches to test hypotheses, extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured and unstructured data, and develop recommendations to drive business performance.
  3. Lead the use of analytics as a critical value driver and source of competitive advantage across our organization.
  4. Apply advanced analytics techniques (core statistical modeling, data visualization, data mining) to analyze large-scale, high-dimensional data and extract insights.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytic needs of major customers and provide accurate, actionable analysis to support their critical business decisions.
  6. Communicate analysis details and business implications to shape team thinking.
  7. Develop dashboards to enable clear visibility into business performance.
  8. Work with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and currency for analysis.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Intelligence/Analytics, or equivalent. Must have 3 years of experience driving business decisions with data-driven analyses. Of this experience, at least 3 years must include:

  • Deciphering and generating complex SQL queries using window functions, CTEs, and aggregate functions;
  • Generating business insights using Tableau or Power BI;
  • Mining, validating, and structuring disparate datasets within the big data ecosystem;
  • Applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression, and modeling to business problems;
  • Translating data results into non-technical formats for presentations to stakeholders.

In interviews, candidates must pass company SQL, data visualization, and business acumen tests. Work experience may be concurrent.

100% telecommuting permitted.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $144,050.54 - $173,500.00 per year.
