Job Description

The Loan Administration team is a critical part of Antares, responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and controlled processing of investment activity across the firm’s managed portfolios. The Senior Analyst, Loan Administration supports the day‑to‑day administration of loan activity and plays an important role in ensuring loan transactions and lifecycle events are accurately recorded in Wall Street Office (WSO) in accordance with documented processes and control standards.

This role is primarily execution‑focused, with increasing responsibility and complexity, and is designed for an individual who understands most loan lifecycle events but continues to receive oversight, training, and guidance from senior team members.

Responsibilities
  • Execute routine loan lifecycle events such as fundings, paydowns, interest accruals and payments, and fees, escalating more complex transactions as appropriate.
  • Perform daily checks and reviews to ensure loan activity is accurately recorded, complete, and in line with documented processes.
  • Assist in researching and resolving breaks, discrepancies, or inquiries related to loan activity in partnership with senior team members.
  • Review supporting documentation related to loan activity, notices, and agent communications and process activity accordingly.
  • Interact with external agents, trustees, custodians, and counterparties on routine operational matters under guidance from senior staff.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and elevate process gaps, issues, or uncertainties to management.
  • Support broader team initiatives related to process improvement, documentation updates, and system enhancements as directed by senior leadership.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in loan administration, loan operations, or investment operations within an asset manager, bank, or financial services organization.
  • Working knowledge of Wall Street Office (WSO) or a comparable loan administration system.
  • General understanding of loan lifecycle events, including funding, interest, paydowns, and fees.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop deeper technical expertise

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting leveraged loans, private credit, or syndicated lending portfolios.
  • Exposure to reconciliations, cash processing, or agent bank interactions.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at the time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is comprised of several components, including but not limited to applicant’s skill, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and the location of the position.

This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).

Base Salary Range

$90,000 - $105,000
