Job description
Overview

Kraft Heinz Mexico is seeking a Senior Analyst – FP&A to support the financial planning, reporting, and performance processes of our Global Capability Center (GCC). This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy, control, and transparency of our financial operations — both for the GCC’s core structure and for the new global capabilities being hosted in Mexico, such as IT Finance, Manufacturing Finance, Commercial Business Partnering, and Category Finance.

This position requires strong attention to detail and ownership in executing the monthly financial close, including manual journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications, while also supporting forecast cycles, headcount tracking, CapEx, and business case modeling. You will partner with package owners and functional leads to provide high-quality financial insights and ensure proper cost visibility.

Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of monthly financial closes, including manual accruals, expense reclassifications, and validations of accounts.
  • Execute the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across entries and reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare and post manual journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications, working closely with the Finance Manager and Controllers.
  • Support the development and consolidation of monthly forecasts, identifying key drivers and validating assumptions.
  • Track People Compensation, including salary, benefits, and variable pay, and analyze deviations versus budget/forecast.
  • Analyze spend performance across towers and cost centers, proactively identifying risks, efficiencies, and key variances.
  • Partner with package owners and business leads to gather insights and validate financial inputs for forecasting and reporting.
  • Prepare financial deliverables for leadership reviews, including dashboards, decks, and variance commentaries.
  • Assist in the CapEx planning and tracking process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgeted projects.
  • Support the creation of business cases, developing simple and robust financial models and sensitivity analyses.
  • Leverage SAP, Excel, and Power BI to extract data, build reports, and continuously improve data accuracy and visibility.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or similar roles in a multinational or shared services environment.
  • Proficiency in financial closing activities, including posting of journal entries, reclassifications, and accruals.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, headcount and compensation analysis, and performance expense tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel (advanced), and preferably Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage large data sets and transform into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with global and local teams.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • English proficiency (written and spoken); Spanish a plus.
  • Experience in consumer goods or fast-paced environments is highly desirable.
