Position Summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our PBM Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for prescription volumes, membership, and revenue. This role is responsible for reviewing forecast assumptions, validating financial and operational data, and ensuring consistency across planning and reporting processes. The Senior Analyst will leverage SQL and SAP HANA to extract, reconcile, and analyze large datasets, identify data quality or reporting issues, and support recurring forecast and budget cycles. The role will partner closely with Finance, Analytics, Underwriting, and IT partners to improve forecasting models, deadlines, controls, and automation. The ideal candidate combines strong financial analysis skills with communication skills, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial planning and forecasting for prescription volumes, membership, and revenue via PAPM platform.

• Maintain forecast/budget yearly calendar and communicate it with stakeholders.

• Review data flows, calculations, and processes to strengthen controls.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data reconciliation, and illustrative tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, managed care, insurance, or a related industry.
• Experience working with SQL, Access, or other querying tools to extract, analyze, reconcile, and validate large datasets.
• Experience with SAP products.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.
• Experience identifying opportunities for process automation and reducing manual financial reporting activities.
• Experience partnering across Finance, Analytics, Underwriting, Technology, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, controls, and data integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial and technical findings to business stakeholders.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and ensure timeliness of all stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to perform data-quality reviews and identify missing data, mapping issues, reporting inconsistencies, and unusual results.

Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
