Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Cyber Incident Response – Senior Analyst to join the Cybersecurity Team. You will lead incident investigations, coordinate with SOC, IT, Legal, and other teams, and provide updates to senior management.

Responsibilities include developing playbooks, sending CSIRT notifications, and conducting tabletop exercises to strengthen defenses. The role emphasizes strong writing, analytical skills, and experience with cyber frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in cyber security and incident management, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of cyber incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO) and regulations such as DFS Part 500 and DORA.
  • Proficiency in understanding cyber controls.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Technical proficiency with IT systems, infrastructure and applications.
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and manage multiple incidents.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.

  • Conduct or support social engineering exercises to raise awareness of risks.

Role

Reporting to the Cyber Incident Response Manager within the Cybersecurity Team, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Incident Response – Senior Analyst to join a dynamic incident response team.

Responsibilities
  • Incident Management & Coordination: Coordinate and work closely with cross‑functional teams (SOC, IT, Legal, Antifraud, Privacy) during a cyber incident investigation.
  • Communication & Reporting: Effectively communicate to senior management updates on ongoing cyber incident investigations and provide timely escalations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and send CSIRT notifications, publish incident “Lessons Learned” reports, and update security policies, procedures and documentation based on incident findings.
  • Vendor & Client Management: Coordinate with clients and vendors for third‑party cyber investigations.
  • Internal Cyber Events: Coordinate the cyber incident response process from initial detection to resolution, ensuring timely and effective action and communicating with relevant stakeholders appropriately.
  • Documentation and Playbooks: Enhance incident response documentation (tracking incidents, updating procedures, playbooks, metrics, etc.).
  • Tabletop Exercises: Participate in cyber‑related tabletop exercises.
  • Social Engineering Simulations: Conduct or support social engineering exercises to raise employee awareness of social engineering risks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in cyber security and incident management, preferably within financial services; strong understanding of latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Strong understanding of cyber incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and regulations such as DFS Part 500 and DORA.
  • Proficiency in understanding cyber controls.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Technical proficiency with IT systems, infrastructure and applications.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple incidents.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $160,000 + target bonus.
