Job summary

Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. in New York, NY 10281, USA, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance & Treasury to join a growing global team.

The role focuses on day-to-day treasury activities and capital planning, reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury, and collaborating with finance colleagues and stakeholders. You will help manage cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and debt financing efforts, supporting FP&A and the Capital Markets team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 4 years of related work experience.
• Experience in corporate finance and treasury, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or power.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with treasury management systems (e.g. Kyriba) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cash positioning and fund flow activity across the business.
• Own the weekly liquidity forecast distributed company-wide, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to build a clear, reliable view of the company's cash position.
• Contribute to capital planning across the portfolio, including forecasting funding needs, monitoring debt capacity, and evaluating how the business funds its growth.
• Support FP&A on various initiatives, including annual business planning and Board meeting materials.
• Support the execution of financing transactions, working alongside the Capital Markets team.
• Maintain the master schedules of accounts, treasury instruments, and obligations that underpin the company's financing framework.
• Contribute to the broader day-to-day treasury function, including account administration, counterparty and intercompany flows, letters of credit, and treasury reporting.

About the Role

Modal Power is recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance & Treasury. The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic global team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury, the role is part of a collaborative team of professionals focused on corporate finance and treasury activities for Modal Power. The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the team responsible for day-to-day treasury activities and capital planning initiatives.

The individual will collaborate closely with key finance team members and other teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily cash positioning and fund flow activity across the business.
• Own the weekly liquidity forecast distributed company-wide, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to build a clear, reliable view of the company's cash position.

Knowledge and Experience Required

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 4 years of related work experience.
• Experience in corporate finance and treasury, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, or power.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
• Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to meet multiple objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
• Familiarity with tax equity and debt structures is an asset.
• Experience with treasury management systems (e.g. Kyriba) is an asset.
