Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Senior Analyst to grow Disney Entertainment's direct-to-consumer business, focusing on Content Forecasting, subscriber growth, KPI tracking, and go-to-market analyses for future content releases.

The role requires partnering with Content Planning, Data Analytics, Strategy, and Operations teams. You will build financial models, analyze large data sets, and present insights to leadership, helping guide strategic decisions in a fast-changing streaming landscape.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of finance/strategy experience in media or direct-to-consumer
• Excellent communication and PowerPoint skills
• Deliverable-focused with strong prioritization to resolve multiple issues
• Expert Excel skills with operating models and large data-set analysis
• Knowledge of subscription / DTC KPIs
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Create & manage forecast models for Disney Entertainment content releases and the subsequent impacts on subscriber acquisition and retention
• Partner with content teams and regional partners throughout Disney to optimize timing of content releases
• Support strategic ad hoc analysis to highlight KPI trends, opportunities / risks to plan, size new offerings, evaluate new strategic initiatives
• Maintain a strong understanding of operating performance (e.g. KPIs, subscribers), major deals and transactions, issues and challenges facing the businesses, and relevant trends in the streaming business
• Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials (decks, notes, write-ups, backup materials, etc.) that effectively communicates subscriber projections, drivers, business performance, and risks & opportunities to leadership
