Position Summary
This role is on the Voluntary Business Operations team and is responsible for processing, reconciling, and auditing broker and technology partner commission payments. You will perform commission calculations, integrate with commission payment systems, and respond to broker questions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with compensation agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely commission payments.
Develop and maintain commission calculation systems.
Respond to broker inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Monitor payment accuracy and reconciliation.
Maintain documentation of commission agreements.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Technology teams.
Implement process improvements for efficiency.
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience managing commission payment processes in the health insurance/benefits industry.
Proficiency in Excel and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of commission payment platforms and systems, specifically for voluntary benefits including Group Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.
Ability to develop and implement commission calculation methodologies.
Experience handling broker inquiries and resolving payment disputes.
Understanding of broker of record (BOR) changes and implications.
Background in operations or financial processing.
Experience with process improvement and automation.
Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience partnering with sales teams and understanding sales compensation structures.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $122,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
