What You’ll Do
End-to-End Collections Ownership
- Take complete ownership of the collections process, from initial tracking to final resolution — across a global portfolio of B2B SaaS & AI customers.
- Design and execute account-specific strategies to ensure timely repayments, balancing firm follow-up with relationship sensitivity.
- Lead consultative communications with CEO/CFO-level stakeholders, via scheduled calls, emails, and written correspondence — focusing on resolution.
- Continuously track aging, missed payments, broken promises, and upcoming risks, and log actions in internal systems with discipline.
- Analyze banking data, revenue contracts, and cash flow behavior to inform proactive outreach and identify recovery opportunities.
- Own collections reporting, building dashboards and summaries to highlight performance, trends, and operational bottlenecks.
- Recommend and initiate escalations to Legal or senior management where necessary, while maintaining a focus on retention and partnership.
- Support internal and external reporting obligations for collections performance, delinquency status, and borrower behavior.
Risk Operations & Servicing for Existing Customers
- Serve as the operational point of contact for customer servicing requests post-funding, including:
- Customer requested letters
- Lien filings and releases
- Bank account or disbursement changes
- Coordinate internally with Risk, Legal, and Sales teams to manage loan lifecycle actions efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and enhance borrower experience through automation or playbook development.
- Contribute to internal policies, playbooks, and servicing SOPs to help scale operations without compromising control.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in end-to-end collections, credit operations, or customer-facing risk roles — ideally in fintech or commercial lending.
- Ability to independently manage a collections portfolio with high-value accounts ($100K–$3M) and senior-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills — capable of maintaining a consultative tone while achieving recovery goals.
- Strong analytical mindset; able to draw insights from bank statements, customer contracts, and payment trends to drive action.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Experience in loan servicing operations such as lien filings, payoff processing, and amendments is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, CRMs, tracking tools, and a plus for BI dashboards.
