Job summary

The Client Due Diligence (CDD) Team is responsible for conducting extensive background checks on the firm’s new and existing clients to identify and mitigate potential risks and ensure our colleagues within the business can confidently deliver services to their clients.

As a Senior Analyst within CDD, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality work to the business, supporting your colleagues and your Assistant Manager to ensure we meet business expectations and regulatory requirements. Our team members come from a wide range of backgrounds, sometimes with little or no prior experience of financial services. What connects us is our enquiring minds and our ability to deliver a great service.

Activities will include:

• Conducting extensive client background searches (Client Due Diligence) and analysing the information gathered to determine the client risk level
• Developing your skills and knowledge to build a strong understanding of our policies, processes, and systems
• Managing your own caseload and delivering services in line with your KPIs/SLAs
• Using your verbal and written communication skills to guide our colleagues in the business through the various stages of the client take-on process
• Escalating complex queries to your internal colleagues, collaborating with them to understand and overcome any issues identified
• Engaging with our Quality Assurance (QA) process to receive and act on feedback which will further develop your technical knowledge
• Using your analytical skills to assess client and engagement information and determine the actions
• Using your IT skills to navigate the third-party software and in-house platforms used to deliver CDD services (such as ServiceNow, Outlook, TOP)
