CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Analyst to maintain item master data across systems (SAP, SPOMS, SPARCS, SPRx) and collaborate with Brand/Generic Contracting, Pharmacy Operations, and Pharmacy Procurement. You will validate data changes, run regular reports, and support data cleansing efforts.

You will also contribute to capital projects, document processes, and mentor junior staff to ensure data integrity across the organization.

Position Summary

This Senior Analyst position is a part of the Data Management team responsible primarily for maintaining item related master data in various systems (SAP, SPOMS, SPARCS, and SPRx) supporting Mail and Specialty pharmacy operations. The Senior Analyst collaborates closely with internal business partners including Brand/Generic Contracting, Pharmacy Operations, and Pharmacy Procurement to validate and execute master data add/change requests. In addition, the Senior Analyst is responsible for executing daily, weekly and monthly reports utilized to ensure purchase price accuracy, validate strategic system data, and support data cleansing routines.

Other responsibilities include supporting capital projects and system enhancement efforts (e.g. data setup, test scenario documentation/execution, data migration/implementation) as well as performing basic ad hoc data analyses. The individual in this position serves as a mentor to the team’s Analysts and Associates and is the team members’ first point of contact regarding data validation rules and procedural questions. The Senior Analyst also acts as the department documentation steward. Responsibilities include creating/maintaining work instruction and process flow documentation as well as facilitating related discussions.

Required Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required (e.g. ability to use functions to write formulas, ability to write macros, etc.).

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, task driven, and have strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred.

Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Working knowledge of Sharepoint is preferred.

Working knowledge of data querying tools such as MS Access is preferred.

Working knowledge of VBA is preferred.

A basic understanding of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business and pricing models is preferred.

Education

College degree or demonstrated work experience in line with requisite job responsibilities is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
