Wilshire Advisors, LLC is seeking an Analyst/Sr. Analyst for the Client Solutions and Alternatives Research teams.

The role is hybrid, based out of Santa Monica or Pittsburgh, approximately 60% client solutions and 40% alternatives research, with responsibilities spanning client portfolios, presentation materials, and evaluating private markets opportunities. Candidates should show strong analytical and investment acumen, comfort with Excel/PowerPoint/Copilot, and a proactive, collaborative

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of the private markets industry.
• Excellent analytical skills (quantitative & qualitative).
• Strong business and investment acumen.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Support the Alternatives team with client-related initiatives across discretionary and advisory clients.
• Assist with monitoring existing client portfolios.
• Create presentation materials for clients.
• Support new client solution ideas and handle ad hoc client-related requests.
• Contribute as an active member of the alternatives research team.
• Evaluate private markets investment opportunities (private equity, private credit, real assets) primarily in North America.
• Participate in 3–4 person deal teams evaluating each investment opportunity.
