Job summary

American Airlines in Atlanta seeks a Senior Analyst to drive distribution and revenue management initiatives. You will collaborate with GDS/NDC partners, support financial modeling, and contribute to strategic decisions across Worldwide Sales and Distribution teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Power BI, and experience in revenue management or financial analysis within a travel and transportation context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in Revenue Management, Sales, or Finance

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with major GDS partners (accounts management)
• Manage all aspects of GDS/NDC planning, pricing, and monthly reporting
• Support financial modeling of processes and contracts to aid decision making in GDS and NDC dealings
• Develop understanding of cost drivers and products to guide strategy and independent action
• Identify, analyze, and measure opportunities for distribution strategy economically, financially or operationally
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Worldwide Sales, Finance, Revenue Management, Digital Channels, AAdvantage, and AA divisions
• Create distribution-related comms plans with Sales Support, B2B Marketing and Corporate Communications
• Contribute to larger corporate business initiatives on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis
• Present analyses and recommendations clearly to all levels of leadership and external clients
• Create and lead internal trainings related to distribution initiatives
• Help shape the Distribution Strategy team’s approach within the broader Airline Retailing and Worldwide Sales organization
