Job summary

KeyBank in Dallas seeks a Sr. Analyst to support Affordable Housing Mortgage Bankers in origination, underwriting and closing of agency, FHA and private placement loans.

You will deliver financial modeling and market analyses, collaborate with underwriting teams, and assist in securing debt financing for multifamily affordable housing projects. Role requires 3+ years in finance/Real Estate and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, business or Real Estate.
• 3+ years in finance, real estate, investment banking or consulting including Real Estate Finance.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; strong spreadsheet skills.
• Solid understanding of affordable housing industry.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Independent, proactive and well-organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support loan origination across agency FHA and private placements.
• Model, evaluate and underwrite financing opportunities with high-quality market analysis.
• Partner with bankers to present execution options across affordable housing products.
• Prepare preliminary and final loan submissions with underwriting and credit.
• Order third-party reports and ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Collaborate with staff to secure debt financing for multifamily housing projects.
• Provide industry and market analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
• Support site inspections when required.
