Job Summary
The main responsibility of the Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics is to apply sophisticated modeling and other advanced analytic techniques to help guide our clients’ media spending plans and make their investments more efficien t. Advanced analytic techniques may include, but are not limited to, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Mu l ti-Touch Attribution (MTA), and media budget optimizations. In addition to the technical aspects required, it will involve cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of parties, which includes the clients, internal stakeholders , 3rd-party vendors, external clients and operational areas within Horizon.

What You’ll Do
70% – Execution, Development , and E nhancement of a nalytic capabilities :
Build statistical model s and analyses in order to provide insights into media planning and buying for our clients .
Constantly look for ways to improve the usage of Horizon’s existing data and analytics infrastructure.
Work with stakeholders to improve current analytic processes, and develop new capabilities that set us apart in the marketplace.
Use automation and technology to increase efficiency and to provide the infrastructure to scale.
30% – Cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships – internally and externally :
Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with key functional areas, as well as HMI Analytics and other stakeholders throughout Horizon.
Act as a liaison between the client, a nalytics team, d ata team, and internal b rand and a ctivation teams .
Extensive brand team and client interaction and day-to-day management.

Ability to generate clear, concise and comprehensive analyses that tell the story behind the data
An analytical mindset with the ability to communicate findings to others
Excellent problem solving skills and determination to work an issue through to its satisfying conclusion is a must

Preferred Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required plus 1-2 years of industry experience; Master’s degree preferred
Exposure to large data sets (“big data”) and analysis thereof required
Experience in the Advanced Analytics realm ; media or marketing field strongly preferred
Advanced statistical modeling experience ( e.g. regression modeling/predictive modeling/inferential statistics) preferred
Strong data manipulation/visualization skills (Excel, SQL) required ; Tableau /Power BI strongly preferred
Specific marketing response modeling expertise such as MMM or MTA strongly preferred
Hands on p rogramming/scripting experience (R, Python) preferred
Strong verbal communication skills, extremely well-organized

Salary Range
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
