Scotiabank is seeking an Account Administration and Billing Senior Analyst to maintain client accounts and monthly billing within Global Banking and Markets. You will ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies while supporting ad-hoc regulatory requests and project work.

You'll review agreements, calculate non-use and commitment fees, enter pricing and limits, and help improve controls and procedures. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of mortgage warehouse financing experience
• Strong communication and Excel skills required

Responsabilités

• Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should influence day-to-day activities and decisions
• Support ad-hoc regulatory requests or special projects as needed
• Review legal agreements and annexes to onboard new customers and renewals; prepare calculations for non-use and commitment fees; enter variable pricing rates and borrowing limits
• QC collection of payments for each customer
• Resolve discrepancies identified on the customer invoices
• Identify, create and maintain operational controls to mitigate risk and improve efficiency
• Assist with writing and updating procedures for account administration and billing
• Collect and compile account analysis and bank statements for MCM customers

Purpose

The Account Administration and Billing Senior Analyst contributes to the overall success of the Global Banking and Markets by maintaining account and facility information in the business system of record and conducting monthly billing for each client. The role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day to day activities and decisions
• Support team with any ad-hoc work as needed, including but not limited to regulatory requests or special projects
• Review legal agreements and annexes to board new customers and renewals into the system. Prepare calculations for non-use and commitment fees. Enter variable pricing rates and borrowing limits upon request
• QC collection of payments for each customer
• Resolve any discrepancies identified accordingly with the customer's invoice
• Identify, create and or maintain operational controls to mitigate risk and drive efficiencies in all processes
• Assist with writing and updating procedures for account administration and billing
• Collect and compile account analysis and bank statements for MCM Customers
