Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Analog Power Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing advanced undersea communication systems.

You will lead design, analysis, integration, and testing of high-voltage power electronics and analog circuitry. Responsibilities include creating power converter architectures, conducting mixed-signal design and verification, and developing technical specifications for electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of engineering experience; or Master's with 3+ years.
• 3+ years designing analog circuits, power electronics, or power conversion systems.
• 3+ years with high-voltage DC power systems or HVDC technologies.
• 3+ years using CAD tools and circuit simulation software.
• 3+ years of circuit analysis, testing, and verification.
• 3+ years of lab measurement with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze analog and high-voltage power systems for advanced platforms.
• Create power converter architectures for low power to kilowatt-level applications.
• Perform mixed-signal design, testing, troubleshooting, and verification.
• Develop specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for systems.
• Evaluate circuit performance and support system integration.
