Job summary

Molex in Fremont, CA seeks a Sr Analog Hardware Engineer - Optical Solutions to lead analog circuit design for high-performance optical modules. You will design, simulate, test, and optimize analog blocks while driving production from concept to release.

You will mentor engineers, own test plans, participate in design reviews, and ensure manufacturability through DFMEA/PFMEA practices, supplier engagement, and rigorous verification to meet demanding data-rate specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of analog circuit design experience.
• Experience with CAD tools such as OrCAD and familiarity with Allegro.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, optimize, and test analog circuits and systems (filters, ADC, DAC, PD, TIA, EDFA amplifier design, op-amps).
• Create and maintain test plans, technical documents, reports, and presentations; generate engineering changes; release designs for fabrication and assembly; evaluate vendors and root-cause issues.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on analog circuit design.
• Collaborate with team to optimize designs for production and meet specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers and suppliers; perform design verification, reliability, and failure analysis.
