Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. in Miramar, FL is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT/Electromechanical) Level III to join our growing MRO operations.

You will report to the Operations Manager and work onsite at our Miramar facility, performing maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical and electromechanical aircraft components. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, FAA repairman certification and experience as an electromechanical technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain FAA repairman certification.
• Previous experience as an electromechanical technician performing testing, maintenance, repair and overhaul in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.).
• FAA Part 145 repair station experience is preferred.
• FAA A&P License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul mechanical and electromechanical aircraft accessories and LRUs in a shop environment.
• Perform assignments in accordance with technical data and work instructions; meet KPIs.
• Train, coach and mentor peers; promote continuous improvement.
• Comply with RSQM/QMS and AS9110 requirements.
