Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC seeks an Assistant Vice President, Risk Management in Miami, Florida to support enhancement and governance of the Firm's Financial Crimes risk management framework, including AML, KYC, and sanctions across U.S. platforms. Telecommuting up to 2 days per week is permitted.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law or a related field.
• Two years of experience in the position or equivalent.
• Experience applying AML/CFT regulatory frameworks (BSA/AML, Patriot Act, FinCEN) and related SEC/FINRA/OCC expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support governance of the Financial Crimes risk management framework across U.S. platforms (AML/KYC/Sanctions).
• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business and operational requirements.
• Assist in strategic Financial Crimes initiatives, including process redesign and control enhancements.
• Develop operating models, workflows and governance for scalable program execution.
• Assist in remediation of findings from risk assessments, audits and exams.
• Prepare materials and reports for senior management and governance forums.
