Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Alias modelling and Class-A surfacing, with a track record of delivering production-ready digital models.
• Proficiency in related CAD and visualization tools (NX, CATIA, ICEM Surf, VRED, or similar).
• Experience collaborating with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams; ability to interpret sketches and specs.
• Solid knowledge of surface quality standards, curvature continuity, and manufacturability considerations for automotive/industrial design.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry or complex product development environments is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D surface models using Alias for automotive or product design programs.
• Translate sketches and design concepts into accurate digital surfaces meeting aesthetic and engineering requirements.
• Develop and refine Class-A surfaces while preserving design intent and data integrity.
• Collaborate with industrial designers, engineers, and other stakeholders; contribute to design reviews.
• Support feasibility studies and work within project timelines and standards.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices in Alias surfacing.
