Job summary

CTS International is seeking a Senior Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer to join their team in Everett, Washington. This role involves leading investigations related to regulatory compliance issues, working closely with functional engineering organizations, and improving processes in the context of airplane certification.

The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of experience in related fields, hold a relevant advanced degree, and possess strong communication and leadership skills. This full-time position requires onsite work 100% of the time.

Qualifications

• 9+ years related work experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with commercial airplane operation and certification.
• Pilot’s license and Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation processes for regulatory compliance issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment during investigations.
• Develop root cause investigations and containment actions.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team

Experience with RCCA tools

Knowledge of FAA regulatory compliance

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering or related field
