Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Machine Repair Technician Level 3 to lead advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of airport facilities and related systems. You will guide preventive and corrective activities, read blueprints, and communicate updates to supervisors to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to obtain airport security clearance, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, at an active airport

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five or more years of experience in facilities, industrial, commercial, or maintenance operations preferred.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance and work on a 1st/2nd/3rd shift, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair airport facilities and building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and related infrastructure.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lead and delegate maintenance tasks while communicating professionally with customers, airport personnel, and team members.
• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs.
• Accurately document maintenance activities in CMMS and use data to improve equipment reliability.
• Communicate critical equipment conditions and updates to supervisors and site leadership.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, golf carts, and other maintenance equipment as required.
• Support day-to-day facility operations by responding to service requests and minimizing downtime.
