Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board is seeking an Electrician to support airfield and related electrical systems at DFW. You will assist certified electricians, learn FAA Part 139 requirements, and help maintain lighting systems and control equipment across airport facilities.

Ideal candidates have basic electrical knowledge, one year of relevant experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts. This safety-sensitive role requires compliance with FAA and DFW safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with commercial/industrial electrical systems.
• Possession of an Apprentice Electrician license (TX).
• Ability to work rotating shifts and pass color vision test.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman/master electricians in installation and maintenance of airfield and related electrical systems.
• Maintain FAA Part 139-compliant airfield lighting and associated control systems.
• Perform electrical testing with meters and diagnostic tools under supervision.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and prepare for inspections.
• Participate in emergency response and winter operations as assigned.
