Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer and Group Manager in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area to lead a skilled team of electrical engineers, designers, and technicians. You will guide airfield electrical projects, mentor staff, and drive business development while ensuring FAA and industry standards compliance.

The role combines technical leadership with staff development and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality electrical infrastructure for aviation facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in one or more states.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical design and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of electrical engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Lead the growth of aviation electrical services, including airfield lighting, NAVAIDs, and power distribution.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural teams to deliver design documentation and QA/QC.
