The Opportunity

RS&H is seeking an Senior Airfield Electrical Engineer to join our Aviation Practice in Las Vegas! RS&H is passionate about aviation!

You will have an opportunity to advance your career and professional development as the Project Manager, Project Engineer, or engineering support on airport projects. You will have the opportunity to lead, develop and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity, initiate and maintain client contact and assist the team in winning the work.

Summary

As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of aviation design professionals to develop engineering solutions for airfield projects. As part of the team, you will lead the preparation of design drawings for airfield lighting systems, FAA navigational aid systems, and communication systems. You will coordinate and work closely with other engineers to develop specifications, reports, and cost estimates.

Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Registered PE license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Some travel may be required

Typical salary range for this position in Las Vegas is $145,000 - $165,000 and commensurate with experience relative to the position.
